14.5" f:4 Wollensak Verito soft focus lens in Studio shutter mounted on an original Sinar lensboard by SK Grimes including flange and front and rear caps. You can remount it to a different sized board, if your camera doesn't use Sinar-type boards. Remove the front cell to use the rear cell by itself as a 20" lens.

Has minor cosmetic issues like brassing, small specs, and minor cleaning marks. Only significant defect is soldering of the air piston to the shutter, but I've had this lens for 15-20 years and have never had a problem with it.

A Studio shutter, if you're unfamiliar, has two settings, open and closed, operated by the lever on top. In the closed position, you can use an air bulb and hose to make an exposure. Top speed is around 1/4 sec. Use open flash technique with strobes by working in a room with ambient exposure at least four stops under the flash exposure, open shutter, fire strobes manually, and close shutter, or instead of the shutter, you can use the lens cap. With a little practice, you can get the ambient exposure down to 1/2 second.

Focusing a soft focus lens is a subjective matter, but I usually like the look of this one somewhere between f:5.6 and f:8.

Covers 8x10" and you can go larger at portrait distances. If you want to use it for ultra-large formats, remove the front cell and use the rear cell alone as a 20" lens.

Let's say $750 (USD) plus shipping.

That's a beauty David. Someone will be very lucky to get that!

It certainly is. Thanks, Jim!
