It is part of the annual Ultra Large Format run.
See here for details: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Sure hope they get it back in stock

They will if you place your order. You have until the 12th June to do so.

at this site I have to order 23!!!!! rolls of 50ft. at B&H I can order 1 roll of 50ft.

No you don't instead the total ULF order has to be large enough to allow Harman to cut a width from a master. If you order 2 you might only get one is the only caveat.

127 has been successful previous years, lots of people have saved backing paper...

PM or query Simon by new thread if you are concerned.

But as Ricardo mentions above you need to be quick.

As you are in the Netherlands, you might want to contact a dealer near you: De Beukelaer b. v.
Address and email are on the PDF.

You can't order direct from Ilford they only sell to resellers as Ricardo suggests.

There is a chap in the UK who sells 127 film and other odd formats (828!). I think he is cutting down 120 and presumably providing his own backing paper. I have some 127 on order and will report on how well the film performs.

You can cut down 120 if you have a 127 as a template.

right off the shelves.

Yes, but the 127 film Maco is offering is Rerapan for black and white, and the color is expired Redscale film. I am hoping that Maco is able to offer more 127 film in the near future.

I might cut down 120 backing paper to 127 size. On Monday I will try to order some of the 46mm film from one of the participating U.S. dealers.

I believe the 46mm film, if you are talking about the Ilford is part of the ULF special run

The colour film is not Redscale but Nightbird. And I have no hint that it is expired either.
In any case I reacted as the title says "127 film" and not "HP5 as 127 film".

Since there are still a few days left for me to add to my 11x14 sheet film order, does anyone have any recommendations for good 127 film rolling tutorials? If it doesn't look too intimidating I may order 2 or 3 rolls of the Ilford stock.

You are right at both points! Sorry.

Reading is gift not given to me. And I got confused by the many Maco terms.

But concerning the Nightbird film DIY-People still could twist it back again. That still would make it an option. Especially with it being a ISO 800 film (In contrast to that Redscale film that is a 400 ISO one.)

I didn't think about re-rolling the redscale, that's good idea.

I wish that Lomo (or anyone...I just think Lomo would be the most likely) would release a 127 camera to bring some more attention to this fun little format
