Looks like I am stuck with GP3 for the moment, as Rerapan is out of stock everywhere and I don't have my slitting/respooling system set up.

I modded my 70mm to 120 and it works fine. I have a leftover cut that is perfect for APS when I get around to messing with trying to reload that.

Received my auxiliary lens sets in today. The wide angle is very mild and the telephoto is 2x as strong, so it has roughly a 45mm wide and 120mm telephoto effect, as is indicated in this brochure: http://yashicatlr.com/PDFs/Telephoto Lens (LoRes).pdf.

I suppose the data applies to ALL aux lens sets, but I could be wrong, as this brochure appears to be for the larger 124G Mat.

Doesn't look bad through the viewfinder, but only actual shots using the adapters will tell.

Austin Camera has the Rerapan 400 in stock on their site, although for a $2-$3 premium per roll over what I've paid in the past. The 100 appears to be out of stock everywhere. Glad I bulked up on it awhile back when B&H was running a promo.

It is always good to load up on your favorite and recently discontinued films to keep them from the hoarders.

I had to smile when I saw this. I did just that in the long past. And I became a hoarder for doing that over time. I think one has to be a hoarder in order to keep the films from other hoarders.

Has anyone here ordered 127 Rerapan directly from Kawauso.biz website in Japan?

The site states free shipping, but I would assume it only applies within Japan itself.

I haven't seen a good argument for what film is being rerolled into Rerapan. They also offered color stock (Rerachrome, though it was C-41) when I first heard of them. I've only used the 100 speed but it's tempting to suggest it's Fomapan (only because Foma hasn't offered 127 that I'm aware of and I haven't shot and processed enough Rerapan to notice any significant differences).

I have a Sawyer's Mk.4 as well as Ekfe, and I love the close up focusing on this camera.

I just found a gray version of the Primo Jr in near-mint condition. I am working on the sticky shutter but it is otherwise in beautiful condition. I'm told the gray version is rare. I had bought it with the intention of reselling but it is such a little jewel I may not be able to part with it.

I just got a bulk roll of Agfa XPS 160. Now to roll some and test.

I sent my Sawyer IV to Dan Daniel for CLA, and now it works great. With its f/2.8 lens and close focus capability, it is indeed the top of line for 127 cameras.

Gotta get me some spare backing papers and spools. I have a few but they're in use right now.

Keeping an eye out for a Sawyer or Prima. It'll pop up some day. Also looking for a tiny working box camera like a Brownie No.0, they look like fun.

I went out on Sunday and shot a roll of 127 Rerapan 100 in a Kodak Brownie Holiday Flash. The images were sharper than I expected, I suppose maybe the curved film plane helped a bit with the single-element plastic lens. It was a nearly cloudless, sunny day. I'm thinking slight faster film would be in order on days that were overcast and cloudy. I also found that the hood that fits my Argus Sevnety Five fit and worked perfectly on the Holiday.

Hi Jeremy @Jeremy Mudd , really nice photos out of the fun Kodak Holiday! I have a Bell & Howell Electric Eye camera which also uses 127 film and also has a curved film plane. And I plan to use it with ReraPan 400.

July is the 7th month of the year, and it is my 127 month! Hope you all enjoy some more 127 photography for the rest few days of July.

Make one or two Venturi 'windows' for box fans, out of PVC pipes, wall board and pipe line reducers that are 50% smaller at the exit port than the fan breeze inlets.

It might take a small bit of effort but even with the fan(s) on low, the air forced through the window will be at least ten degrees Fahrenheit (10°f) lower, which should help you to remain somewhat cooler in your work space.

Furthermore, to draw the heat up and out of the attic, you can also make a attic solar chimney by way of metal or plywood construction of an attic mounted, non fire, chimney and a hose or pipe that can bring up cool airs from your lowest room or basement, into the attic proper and let the heat rise up through the chimney, by convection.

Many years ago, I owned a {moderator's deletion of politically inflammatory label} house, that was fairly large, but had been designed with natural convections that would keep it cool and breezy on the hottest day in the southern most N.C. & S.C. border county.

You'll be very surprised how well natural convection air flows work, and, with the Venturi but x fans, it should really help out on the hot attic days.
