Why is it UV light and IR radiation, oh wait, that's heat, never mind. Hold on, shouldn't it be IR energy? Nope, that would confuse people into thinking you were talking about the IR light that insects can see, but they see IR heat as well, but we still call it IR radiation...
And let's not forget the diner patron's classic, heard millions of times a day by servers: "A double cheeseburger with cheese."
Even more minor: it is properly f/ stop, not F-stop.
Or "cheese quesadilla"!"Chili con carne with meat, please."
To be repetitive, redundant, and repeating again!
Well (deep hole in the ground), I guess I'll have to figure what aperture to set on the fast lense of my 120mm Rollie camera when I go out shooting next. I want my glass to make good bokeh but not blow out the highlights. I didn't have much luck with my Cannon last time...maybe my film was too fast.
I am using that infer-red film, so I better make sure my camera does not get too hot in the sun and have the heat fog the film -- or worst, cause the film to catch on fire!
I'll soup the film tomorrow. Hope it comes out okay as I am hoping for an invite to a local 'togs club and I don't want them to think I am a noob.
Speaking of shooting people with your camera. Pardon the digital content

Welll I think it's because no product can give you "better" tonality, despite what people say: your tones are more or less determined in decreasing order of importance by subject, film spectral sensitivity, filters, exposure, and the interrelation of characteristic curves of film/paper.
The last time my highlights got loose they ate my neighbors cat.
- "Infrared film is exposed by heat." - One of the teachers I assist says this every G.D. time she teaches the IR portion of the experimental class, and it grates on me like hell, because it is passing absolutely horrible information on to students. But even though I have known her for years, I have not yet figured out a way to politely shatter her lifelong belief.....
Totally unrealistic, IMO. An F3 w/MD-4 jamming like that? Hmmph.
Hi all.. I am new here and I have to say that this post made me laugh a lot! So many I agree with and as I was thinking of the next one that annoys me, there it was posted again!
I would say that I have to things photography related that irritates me big time:
1 - as soon as you say that you are a photographer, the 1st question I get is "what camera do you use?" It irritates me to the point of wanting to rip the head off the other one! My answer from now on is: "I have 9, which one you wanna know?"
2 - the other question I get when the other one is not much into photography but wants to pretend he/she is: "Film or digital?" or as the irish would say "The Philum or The Digihal?"
Seriously, people.......
Seriously
