Hi all, from an APUG member and this is my first post over here on DPUG.
Up until recently, I had been using an Epson V600 to scan everything, and I just bought a 4990. My problem is this:
When I scan 120, with the V600's software I'm able to go into the Configuration settings at the bottom and set the frame size (such as 6x4.5, 6x7, etc.) for medium format film so that the scanner will automatically detect the frames. However, the settings for the 4990 seem to lack this option and I must select the frames individually with marquees. Obviously that gets to be a headache.
Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is this a limitation of the 4990?
