12,800 ASA

I have used both Tmax 3200 and Delta 3200 at 12,800 and loved the results I got. Has anyone else tried this and have examples of it? Any suggestions at shooting in low light?

120 Delta, Rolleicord Va and Sekonic 398

No, I have not tried this. I like your results. I like grain in general. When I first shot Delta 3200 I thought it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Of course, the Model might have had something to do with that as well... but I like to think I was looking at the grain more than him...

I'm planning to test delta3200@12800 this weekend. I like the grain of delta3200@6400 developed in microphen a lot and was already planning to take it 1 step further...

Just set your meter for 3200. Take a meter reading and shoot two stops faster than that reading. IE If you are set to 3200 and the meter says to shoot 1/30 @ F2.8 than shoot 1/125 @ 2.8.

The delta I have heard has finer grain at 12,800 even in 35mm. I am going to post on of the 120 shots at some point.

I have done this for years - first the Tmax 3200 pushed - then the Delta 3200 pushed. Especially the Delta is a favourite film of mine.
In 120format I use it in my Diana camera all the time...

very addictive!

I'd love to read some rudimentary suggestions for developing. I've tried really pushing Tri-X in my Rolleicord, and the negatives were so thin they didn't seem worth printing. I assume DD-X would work well, given enough time. I was not persistent enough.

You might consider an external meter. I know that some in camera meters get unhappy with very dark situations (1/15th F1.8 @ ASA3200 or something like that) and will indicate strange readings which you should interpret as camera unhappy.
