100Tmx > 1600

By accident I used two rolls of Kodak 120 100Tmx at 800 & 1600 in my sl66se I have HC110'B' and D76 soup. How to develop ? time-temp or what ?

Here is the link for Kodak's Technical Data. The Push processing is on page 10. It shows HC110 and D76 are not recommended for a 3-stop push. T-Max developer has a listed time of 11-3/4 minutes at 75 degrees F.

Well, I guess you will just have to develop for Gamma Infinity!

That's D-76 straight for 48 minutes at 68-degress F, agitate normally (few inversions each 30 seconds) for the first 10 minutes or so, then every minute thereafter.

I would dilute the developer a lot more than usual and develop the film a lot longer to compensate. Then I would shoot another roll like the mistake roll and develop it first. Say D76 at 1+5 and make sure to put enough solution in the tank to insure activity (use a much bigger tank than you have to and put empty reels on top.

sprint developer is similar to d76 and some say the developers are interchangeable with the same times. ...
anyways it suggests for the 1600 , 30 mins ...
and for the 800 23 mins ... but those like everything else are starting points.
if you are familiar with developing by inspection with a green safelight it might help
pinpoint the actual best time ...

You could give the film the ol' Vestal intensification (or was it called latensification?) trick. I think it involved a green safelight and a bunch of time. Astro photographers used to use Peroxide fumes to increase the speed of film, but I don't really know if that can be done after exposure or if it only works before exposure.

Personally, I would just chuck the film unless it was something important. Life is too short.

Perhaps consider a different developer? The massive dev chart only has one option for Tmax at 1600 and it's in Ilford ID-11 for 16 minutes.. No personal experience with either film or developer in question.

Pre-flash with extended development time would definitely work and preserve shadow detail. I don't know if post-flash would work the same.

I'd have thought that the film exposed at 800 might be OK in the right developer such as TMax or Microphen. That's only a 3 stop push, similar to pushing 400 to 3200. See how the 800 comes out and use this to decide if there is any mileage in trying the 1600

film is drying and there's an image the 800 32' in 24C / 1600 57' in 26C; in HC110 'B'. Won't do it again I think ;+
