Good lord, man. You joined a year and a half after me and have that many posts? What's wrong with you? What's wrong with ME?
And don't forget, the APUG community has you to blame for my presence. I will not let them forget!

If it were me I'd simply use FP4 with strobes, and move to HP5 in natural light for the higher shutter speeds you may want...

I develop both of these in D76.

I really don't like modern grain films for portraits.

You have a ton of lattitude with both of these Ilford offerings, and they're my fav. 2 films for portraits in 120 format...

Just my opinion...

Paul I'm a little late responding to this, but for you're project you may want to give Fuji Acros and Neopan a go. IMO a very beautiful film souped in Xtol.
Kind regards
Nicole

I'd go with Fuji ACROS or Ilford FP4+. IMO, the best 100 speed films ever made. The ACROS will give you smooth, creamy tones, long tonal scale, with no visible grain, if that's your fancy. FP4+ has to be one of the best traditional-grained films ever made. Hard to go wrong with either.
