I find thousands of old photographs in thrift and antique stores.

And it always bugs me because any one of them could be a gem worth a great deal, and I simply don't have time to go through them all!

Ah yes, of course the gelatin silver process was only known to fine art photographers as the plebeian masses continued to use wet collodion all the way until the 1960's.
