Following a suggestion to consolidate the ƒ/D articles into a single thread on APUG, I'm starting this one for articles/interviews/etc. I'll start a separate one for the inspiration sharing articles I post as well.

New today on ƒ/D: our interview with Jana Obscura. Jana is a prominent pinhole photographer and co-host of the Pinhole Podcast. Check out the interview here: http://fslashd.com/2016/06/ƒd-interviews-jana-obscura/

Cheers!

Looking forward to seeing the updates from you.

Keep it coming please!

New Today on ƒ/D: How to build a Pinholga! This is a brief how-to in case you or someone you know would like to build their own camera. While this article focuses on the pinholga build, I've included tips for other camera types as well.

New today on ƒ/D: a pinhole article for the masses. I recognize that those who haven't pinholed before usually start off with some basic questions, and often times people don't ask questions cause they don't know what to ask exactly. So this one is for the newbies - whether that's you or someone you know who's interested in pinhole but hasn't tried it yet. Or maybe you've tried it and don't understand why certain things happen. Here's to you:

New today on ƒ/D is a write up by guest author Delio Ansovini on infrared pinhole photography. I like the way he wrote this article because he takes you through the steps and mistakes he learned, and presents some good data behind those steps and mistakes, to help you adapt his techniques. He focused this article on large format, but the techniques should play equally well on medium format. Enjoy!

New today on ƒ/D: we feature pinhole photographer Markus Kaesler. He does some very well executed multi-exposure photos focused on travel experience:

That is some amazing stuff! And talk about level of effort - to get those images to line up the way they do, that requires some massive pre-planning and note-taking, plus potentially months worth of waiting between shots to come up with a complete image.

ya know I tried it on an RB67 lens cap.. an ETRS lens cap n a couple other cameras n my results were so bad. But everytime I come in here i get right back on the horse n try something else.

a great inspiration n after reading all this I should be a master out standing in my field.. yeah only a farmer!

thanks

its the lens itself. i cant get nice clean images as i see here. ive tried several techniques recomended here n in readings but with no improvements at all.

im not giving up, just get discouraged for a short spell. i see it takes alot of patience n inspiration. i do enjoy reading n seeing wonderful images in here. one day ill be posting beautiful pix, im only a grasshopper.
