To me the original saying is moot. I can't draw so relating something to that doesn't really work for me.

But I get the idea. Which is much like my " what would ??? do" thread.

I get that not everything HAS to be "important" enough to to "do it right" but that in most cases we should discipline ourselves to do our best, no matter what level we're at.

For one thing it elevates us and our work and for another it elevates people's peception of us and our work.
