Gently pry the O rings out, I bought plastic tool at a dive shop for $7, clean the grooves, I used a Q tip, apply the grease to the rings making sure they are evenly covered and reinsert. I had to push had down on the body to make it close because the ring needs to be compressed to seal.
Probably not. The chemicals are mixtures of salts which disassociate into ions. The presents of ion reduces the freeze point. Since both these chemicals have heavy concentrations of ions, the freezing point is very probably well below the temperatures they will be exposed to. Your chemicals...
One problem is the dents on the edges of the film and the cupping marks on number 10(?). These are related to problems loading the film on the reel. What kind of reels are you using? I had much better success loading 120 on to Hewes stainless steel reels than other steel reels and plastic...
Why?? At Kodak learned that most black & white and color films can easily be stored sealed in a freezer for ten years without problems. Just send you frozen film discards.
Actually the cost for one set with lubrication was almost the same as two bags of fifty and lubrication. That is the competition on the internet. I hope my grandchildren like taking photographs in the swimming pool.
Frankly the digital underwater cameras today with their built in filtering correction and virtually [pun intended] unlimited number of exposures per dive, is the way to go. This is an area where digital cameras are better than film cameras.
I do not and I will not waste my time attempting to. I use a five minute prewash time for all my Jobo processing. Tinsley https://www.amazon.com/Rotary-Processor-Manual-John-Tinsley/dp/0902979116 recommends five minute prewet for all films except Kodak Tri-X in XTOL and Kodak agrees with his...

As Donald state unless you are a really good reason otherwise shoot Tri-X at the box speed of 400 and other films at box speed. Modern films have so much latitude that there is very little need to down rate the ISO speed, because the shadow detail is already captured.
For decade crappy snapshots provide Kodak, Ansco, Agfa, Luminere, Fuji and others a robust income and support for their R&D. I do not care who else buys film as long as they buy film.
While some of the tabular grain films have very straight curves and better reciprocity, I do not care for tabular films' grain and use it sparingly. Do I have to still sit in the corner facing the corner, or am I allowed to walk around again? Please advise me quickly, I really have to go to...
Take the time to read PE's posts. He disagree with you and he had the background to evaluate the subject. Again read PE's posts. For myself, I found an improvement on the films that I prewash. There is one film that I do not prewash as I stated. You are free to disagree, but I choose to...
The discussion was adding surfactants, not the ones in the products. Look at PE's posts and other than the final rinse for film, he rarely recommends adding surfactants.
