Almost abstract. I like it a lot. Great eye!

How would you tackle (darkroom) printing this?

I would not crop it either. The original composition is perfect.

How would you tackle (darkroom) printing this?

Absolutely correct. The horizon is not always horizontal. There is something called land formations.

Bag suggestions for a Mamiya C220?

A bag that carries the camera to your side works if the weight does on throw off your back. I prefer top loading backpacks.

Kodak committed to making film "as long as there's demand"

Kodak and Ilford keep chugging along. Kodak makes color and black & white negative films and slides. Ilford only makes black & white negative film. Those are the only heavy lifters we have today. There are smaller companies, but we need to support the two heavy lifters if we are to have film...

Is the digital photo craze dead? DPReview.com shutting down.

Digital pushed film out of the mainstream. Cell phones pushed digital out of the mainstream. Both have exacted a cost.

    Cocked or Uncocked?

But if you follow the advice of Mike at Samys Camera on Fairfax, you do not leave your lenses for prolonged periods because you are firing each lens for 10 to15 times at 1 second every three months.

How would you tackle (darkroom) printing this?

And without the faces, the eye is not distracted and caused to dwell on the faces. That is a big plus for this composition. Why does every photograph have to look like ducks in a row?

    Price of rangefinders.

Why would some people want interchangeable lenses for range finder cameras? Because there are no zoom lenses for those cameras.

Lens recommendations for extreme distance (~500-800mm)

When I got my 500mm C lens from KEH it jammed. They paid for shipping both ways, disassembled the lens to get to the shutter, recollimated the lens, and shipped it back to me at no cost.

    Cocked or Uncocked?

Yes, but remember the 1000 and 1600 were designed by watch makers and were not robust. The V series has a different shutter design which was designed by camera and lens designers.

    Lightning!

Ben Franklin has a choice of which was positive and which was negative, he made the wrong choice. Lightening can go from clouds to ground or ground to clouds. There are no polarization rules for clouds. Also diodes are not involved.

When my children got to around 7th grade and they started thinking logically, they started commenting on such paradoxes. I explained that as they continued to grow and learn that they needed to think things through, consider the logic and consequences of each action, be logic and act as an...

    Cocked or Uncocked?

Different products have different spring handling criteria. There is no one size fits all. I only stated Hasselblad's criteria, not criteria for every product ever built.

    Cocked or Uncocked?

The springs were designed to last a lifetime. Back in the day that there were the lens engineers still working and around to write articles and be interviewed, they stated that the springs were designed to spend decades in the cocked position regardless of how many times they were fired. I...

I have similar thoughts. What film speeds are you using? Hand held with ISO 100? Does the lens need collimating?

How would you tackle (darkroom) printing this?

Use split grade filtering. The magenta will separate the tones in the lower half of the scene: people and ground. The yellow will bring out the clouds better. Then burn in as suggested by @AnselMortensen.
