I have always depended on the built-in meters of all the cameras I have owned. If I were you as long as films develop normally I would use it. If the photographs tend to drift off, then send it camera out to have the light meter adjusted.
Southern California has a dry climate and I cannot remember one to two days only that were humid and that was when there was a hurricane. Hurricanes are extremely rare and when they come the humidity rises some but not to the point of getting humid.
This is a thread where everyone jumps it with their personal point and shoot camera of choice. The Brownie Camera, more a box camera than a tradition point and shoot, is my favorite.
I just received the Hasselblad Pro Shade (40231) with Bayonet 60 lens adapter ring from a Photrio member so my GAS has been relieved for at least 15 to 20 seconds.
Much easier than falling off a motorcycle.
Know the steps, quantities, times, line up the equipment and chemicals, instructions and timing device. Take a deep breath and relax. Then you will be ready to start. It is not that hard.
The stamps arrived today. Because today's stamp are pealable rather then wetted to apply to the mail, there is no information on the back of the sheet. I will mount the sheet in the normal manner.
Doesn't taking multiple photographs, making sure that the exposure, contrast, viewing angle . . . are all properly balanced and aligned take much more work than using a larger format camera and taking only one photograph?
They do for photographers want to control exactly what is in or out of focus.
They do for photographers want to use lenses that are not available for AF lenses such as Perspective Control lenses.
I do not remember the name of the FreeStyle brand stainless steel tank which works well. Also the NIKOR stainless steel tanks work well too. Both brands can dribble a little IF AT ALL, and I have gotten good usage from both. I have not had a problem exchanging or upgrading any products from...
While I do slow down slightly with larger format cameras, much of the slowing down is because I have a much larger view finder to study while I am composing. Given the larger view finder, I take more time to make sure that there will be no unwanted objects in the composition such as pole rising...
We visited San Francisco last December and were shocked and disappointed to see the COVID caused:
The Union Square area to be deserted. With people not coming to work, and buy things during their lunch breaks, the store went out of business.
Pier 39 had many stores shut down for the same...
I did order one sheet which I will frame and hang next to my small collection of Ansel Adams prints. If this sheet of stamps has commentary printed on the back as a page of Civil War stamps I have, then I will fame the Ansel Adams stamps the same way.
On revisiting this topic, I have gotten a lot of use of my 250mm lens and do not get a lot of use of my 500mm lens. I think if I had a 350mm lens, that I would use it much more than the 500mm lens.
I think that the NIkon F100 is the best Nikon AF camera that Nikon built. It has all the best features without the weight and bulk of the F6, and without some of the unneeded features. I have the N75, two N80s, and F100. The F100 is the go to camera for my most serious AF 35mm work.
