I tried super glue holding the eye cup with camera. That was too stiff and it did not work well for me. I thhe ey en used Pliobond 25 and that has worked well in holding the eye cup on the camera and being flexible enough to work well.
Black & white film prewashing was scientifically, controlled and rationally addressed at length by PE. I suggest you do some research and read PE's work.

Since there were never enough 220 film emulsions for me, 220 film often cost more than twice the cost of two 120 rolls and processing a roll of 220 film also cost more than twice one roll of 120 film, I never saw a reason to buy A24 backs for my Hasselblads.
That is what I do. Shoot from the street of other public property and move on. I cannot remember when someone bothered my about photographing buildings, people can be another problem. Then again, I do not do street photography.
I can develop C421 films cheaply enough. My problem is taking the time to set up the darkroom to print each negative for a few rolls of 120 or 135 film. I just take the film to Samys and have them develop and print each roll.
Verichrome Pan was discontinued because it contained Cadmium. To come up with a replacement would require R&D. Why would Kodak spend R&D money for a film with virtually no demand?
