I have used both multigrade filters and a color head. The color head is a part of my 4"x5" enlarger and just being built in makes it more convenient. Overall I found the color head much more convenient and allows for small variations which multigrade filters cannot provide.
Thank you. I am nowhere near shooting scripted videos as I did when I shot Super 8 for a starting family. As I posted, I am just starting the digital post processing learning curve.
I bought my Nikon Z7ii earlier this year and used it for one trip so that I could become familiar with it and its menus. I have poked around with Light Room and PhotoShop Classic, but I have not moved along the learning curves very far for the Z7ii, Light Room and PhotoShop Classic.
When discussing the common misuse of pushing film, those people have expectations of "pushed film" which does not exist. I do not know where this feature comes from, but probably it is wholly imagined.
It is a matter of taste and background; what is acceptable for one may not be acceptable to someone else. We are not required to agree with each other on the outcome of pushed film.
None of the light meters see IR properly, however for many years I use the light meter set at the box speed and then open up the iris the appropriate number of f/stops or increase the exposure time accordingly for the filter factor.
I too strongly recommend that you finish your degree first. By the time you finish the degree, your interests will change and the fields of interest will change. Best of luck.
Four rolls on 500ml is the maximum I have developed at a time. I put the used chemicals back in each container, reusing them until I have developed a maximum of 16 rolls per liter. I save up the rolls of film so that I can get the most out of the C41 chemistry in two or three days. I have not...
This idea has been dead for almost a year since I last posted. It does not appear that there is any interest in the event. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I only do that for color processing enough rolls to use up all the C41 set of chemicals. So now it I have fewer rolls I just send the fewer rolls of film in to be processed and printed.
I make backup copies of my digital photographs on a 2 Terabyte hard drive on a regular basis so that I can always go back and the original RAW and JPEG images later, before I start any post processing.
