Which superwide?

I need a superwide for the Nikon f system (will be shooting film) shorter than 20mm.

I use cameras that can drive G and AF-S (Nikon F100 etc)

It seems that my choice is this:

- irix 15mm MF
- Laowa 15mm MF
- Samyang 14mm AF


Recommendations? I think they are available for other mounts as well so any advice is welcome.

Do you prefer sticking to just prime lenses or would superwide zooms be an option?

For primes, if you're open to using older-ish lenses, there's the Tamron SP AF 14mm f2.8 (released in 1999, specs found here: https://lens-db.com/tamron-sp-af-14mm-f28-aspherical-if-69e-1999/)

For zooms, there's also the Tamron SP AF 17-35mm f2.8-4 (released in 2003 & has aperture ring, specs found here: https://lens-db.com/tamron-sp-af-17-35mm-f28-4-di-ld-aspherical-if-a05-2003/)

I have the samyang 14mm AF for e mount and it's fantastic. if it's the same optics for Nikon I'd fully recommend it.

There is a 14-24 Nikkor zoom as well.

You can't beat the Sigma 12-24mm -- it came in three "generations".
