"Hex Wrenches" from @Taurabon really great whimsical found composition. My wife the artist, spotted it immediately and said "that's great!!" I agree! Thank You.

A few more cards arrived over the past couple (uh, maybe more ) weeks:

Arriving in Lisbon, 1999 by @rduraoc. It’s a beautiful image, and I agree it’s a scene you linger on and wonder about what’s really going on.

electric egret by @jvo. The egret does appear to be channeling something in that late afternoon sun. From what you describe, the area along the Sunshine Skyway sounds like an amazing place to take pictures.

Continuing on the theme of electricity, @Ajven sent Lethal Buds. For sure, *do not* pick those flowers! That camera, film and paper combo yielded some very nice tonality in that image.

Thanks everyone.

A break has been taken and the sign up thread for the next round is up.

I received from @MToma "Nothing Really Ends" a pair of lovely prints on single weight fibre paper, Azobrom, such great paper. Beautifully printed with care. Thanks Mihai!
Best Regards Mike

I'm also among the lucky ones to get @jvo 's "electric egret". Incredible mixture of tones that make the egret pop out. I wonder if it's possible to reproduce this kind of effect with chemistry? I've been getting these kind of tones with Bromophen and then toning with KRST, but no idea how to make the "electric" effect... Experimenting is needed.

I received two very cool cards today. Actually, three cards, but only two postings.

First is "Hex Wrenches" from Taurabon. A collection of various sized hex wrenches very artistically arranged. Accidently dropped on the floor? Hmmm, something suspicious here ... And none of my floors are nearly that clean! But it is a great shot, perfect exposure, perfect printing.

And second is "Nothing Really Ends" from Mtoma and Mlonela. Two photos from their past, their youth. Printed on old single weight fiber paper. But the prints look like they were printed on modern paper. No instance of staining / fogging. Really nice.

Thanks Kaoru, thanks Mihai and Micle.

I managed to get a bit behind with my acknowledgements, with the result that my cards managed to get tangled up with other stuff. I am particularly impressed at how many cards were traditionally printed; way beyond my capacity (I've only made one wet print in my life, and that was in a one-to-one workshop where the other guy did most of the work!). So my thanks to...

- Darwin for "Got Calculus", brings back memories of the big stacks of books that were required for study in my 1960s degree (sleeping with a text book under the pillow was touted by some as a revision technique!). Not sure what that enigmatic photo is, out of focus to the right; looks like someone in either agony or ecstasy!

- JVO for Electric Egret, absolutely loved this one!

- rduraoc for Arriving in Lisbon. Such an unusua lscene, and so well composed. Where is the body buried, I wonder?

- and today Todd Barlow for Four Birch. I've wondered if a square would work as a postcard, and the answer is, yes. Such a range of tones and textures here.

Thank you and anyone whom I might have missed in my confusion.

Today I received "Four Birch" by @Todd Barlow - The contrast of four trunks growing from the same spot, standing motionless against the flowing water, is fantastic. Great work. Thank you for the beautiful postcard!

Again, my apologies for the lateness of sending my cards out!

@Todd Barlow's "Four Birch" arrived today. Yes sir, nothing beats the combo of Birch trees and running water. Great Composition. Thank you.

I received two nice cards today from bedrof. Actually, one of them is from PCX 66, and the other from PCX 67, but I’ll document them both here.

The PCX 66 card is “Salinas Grandes, Cordoba”, a shot of a wire fence separating two areas. The area behind the fence appears to be a desert, and the small ground on this side appears to be dry earth, or maybe cobblestones. The desert goes deep, but you can see the horizon at the top of the frame.

And the PCX 67 shot is “The Courtyard Inside”. This is a shot of a tall gate with, obviously, a courtyard beyond it. There is a bicycle this side of the gate, and tables, chairs, and lots of plant life on the other side. Excellent exposure, considering there is almost indoor lighting in the foreground, and the outdoors beyond. This is Cafagate, Argentina? Not sure of the spelling.

Thanks Ilya, these are great shots!
