Excerpt from Suzuki's web page

I learned long ago to save interesting things lest they disappear. Here is an excerpt from the "Paper Developer" page.

However, in the DS14-15 recipe there is metol, I wouldn't want to get my hands inside it, for a question of sensitivity in finding the right part of the sensitive paper side I don't use gloves, so I touch the paper when I remove it from the trays and therefore I also touch the developer liquid....

DS-14 doesn't have any metol, it is phenidone (or any of the derivatives). Check again.

Something must have been lost in translation. Why are you touching the paper with bare hands, exactly?
Personally, I just use print tongs, but for larger prints, gloves can be worn to avoid direct contact between the hands and the processing liquids. Under safelight conditions it's easy to tell which side is the image-side, insofar as it matters in the first place. I personally just process my prints image-side facing upwards, so I always know which side is which. IMO any confusion is easily avoided without resorting to physically touching the paper.

I am a street artist, a minutero photographer, for those who do not know this practice go and see it here ... I use a minutera camera in the square where I deliver the portraits in about 15 minutes, that is, I have a camera with an attached darkroom together, I can't see what happens inside, I go all by touch, that's why I said that I take the paper and put it in the paper holder on the right side, I don't have red light like in a fixed darkroom at home, I hope I explained myself

Ah, I see; yes, I'm familiar with the street artist concept. In that case, I'd suggest handling the paper in such a way that you always know which side is which. I.e. always take it out of the box in the same way and handle it in the same direction.

I go all by touch

You could cut a notch in every sheet of paper in the dark at home (top-right, just like film).

We'd all like to see what you use for your street portraits, by the way.

Here are some of my works, I would like to point out that I am a teacher and that I do this as a hobby.

Just out of sheer curiosity, John I checked the OP's history. He stayed with us just long enough(24 hrs) to receive your recipe and then was never seen again

I always get intrigued and puzzled whenever I see a 1 post member who is never seen again😕
