Here's my experience with SHD100 (not to be confused with SHD 100 Pro), in factory-rolled individual cans of 35mm. The words on the boxes are mostly written in Chinese (see second image of my scanned box).
Putting aside the atrocious light piping that all SHD films have, it shoots fairly well...
Hi there! I've used Rollei Low Contrast developer (RLC) before, which is said to be similar to one of the Spur Doku- developers (I don't remember which one), and here it is compared with Adotech IV:
The results are very similar if you take into consideration that the RLC shot was taken in...
Box speed of 80 ! That picture was taken on a somewhat overcast day which helps, but since the emulsion has its root as a motion picture film, it made sense to me that it's right at home in D96!
*u* Whoaaaaaa! Beautiful!!
DK-60a, Selectol, Dektol, Microdol to the right? And is there anything special about these ethol paper devs, other than the incredible can design?
Cheers from up here in Canada
Nope, it's all-metal!
I assume that the manufacturing code *has* some kind of meaning; as to if my interpretation is correct, that, I'll possibly never know...
In terms of canning, though, I'm asking because I know different coatings were used depending on industry since back then they canned...
I've mixed some Microdol-X from a can. The code embossed on the top of the can reads "U7502" so I'm assuming it was manufactured in 1975; 51 years ago. As you can see here, the powder was 100% free-flowing, with ZERO brown to be found. I'm in awe. I previously mixed a can of D-19 which had...
All good :)
I wish I had the resources (mostly time) to test all the variations on replenishing. Hopefully someone can try them and share their results!

Locally to me, 1.2 g of CD-4 is about $3 CAD, hypothetically per roll, to add on top of the rest of the developing cost... Sir I'm just a grad student hahaha, my pocket money is curently going towards getting a couch, and eventually, a CLA for my daily driver SLR (priorities, as they say).
In...
I've entertained the idea of adding fresh metol to the solution every 1 or 2 rolls but don't have the time to try it. A whole 100mL of replenishment would become costly in terms of the amount of CD-4, both monetarily, and environmentally. That's just... a lotta CD-4 to throw out š
Well, from the 7 minutes on the Massive Dev Chart for this film in D-76 1+1, we get 8.3 minutes in BW&G 1+49 from the equation, which is very close to the official published time of 8.25 minutes!
I hope my formula will get more people who don't like taking chances to use this dev on various...
