    Kodak C41 2.5/5L kit and Fujihunt 5L kit - from a Bellini 1L user

I'm not very good at modifying others STL files...

Indeed, it is 270 g of PETG. I was looking for a hex patterned side wall model that was already designed that was also parametric and couldn't find one. This model was interesting. It was a web-modifiable file that I believe was based on OpenSCAD. Other than the fact that I would have...

Currently printing a rack for securely holding 4 x 500 mL PET bottles in the warm water bath.

I 3D printed this one and it worked well. Too bad refilling these blasted bags (at least the version I purchased is nearly impossible).

I did a "wet" run with water to test all of the procedures I knew what I would have to do priort to putting chemicals and chemical exposure of me at risk. These are terrible. Well, not intrinsically, but I do not have the right tool to remove the tap easily and re-filling them is a nightmare...

Yes, if one is going to put the whole bag in the bath, these look great. I plan to dispense what I need into a PET bottle, so I won't have to worry about the lack of support that the bags I shared will (or more appropriately, will not) provide...

That's a nice design. The bags I purchased will not be as convenient. I'll figure something out though... The ones I ordered are this style:

You're welcome. I'm pretty new to trying to handle chemicals at home (other than 1-shot b/w stuff) that have lifetimes short enough to have a real impact on the economy of their usage. When I handle chemicals at work, it's using proper laboratory equipment (I'm an analytical chemist). Despite...

My understanding was that the OP uses 1 L bags and 1 L development tanks, so he'd need to put the whole bag in the bath. I was curious how that worked. I usually use a 2 reel tank and I would do exactly as you suggest: heat what I need.

Makes sense... Would love a picture of your (and anyone else's homebrew) setup!

Sounds like we are similar in how we do things for film development. When getting the developer up to development temperature, do you just put the bag in the water bath as-is and just let it float around or hold it somehow and not worry about any contamination that might occur at the bag...

Ah, this is fantastic! Thank you. I'm impressed (happily) that the working solutions remain stable in the wine bags. Have you gotten any sense of color shifts occurring with your compensation for the development times? I reckon that unless one used a control strip of some kind and a...

That's great news! Can you please share a bit more detail on how you are handling each 1 L bag of developer? What I am inferring from one of your previous posts in this thread is that you dispense what you need into your tank for a few rolls and then pour it back in to the same bag when you...
  15. Old-ish amateur photographer getting back into film

I have to say that despite my bias toward a mechanical shutter-based camera, the HP viewfinder on the F3 is very nice as a progressive lens eyeglass wearer. I know I can get diopters, but then I'm doffing and donning my glasses all of the time... That said, I love the combination of the match...
