Been dealing with the paper curvature on Ilford-branded FB paper for over several boxes; I tape the easel’s bottom lid down - it’s annoying but it works.
The more annoying problem is wrinkles on the edges of the paper once it dries - no amount of pressing in the dry-mount press seems to work...
Finally got to see it today. Beautiful prints and a nice presentation as you pointed out.
Apparently the ICP bookshop has a Eugene Atget book for sale but I missed it.
I should have specified that it is the wires between the platen and the top portion of the the press that need to be replaced - the single wires -, (not the cord that plugs into the wall).
My smaller Seal Press needs its brittle/breaking electrical wires replaced. These wires are NOT plastic coated type; they are coated with a cloth-type of material.
What is it called and where can I source a small quantity of such wiring?
Any leads will be much appreciated.
I have come in possession (free) of a couple of large sheets of ‘SEAL ColorMount COVERSHEET’.
I am unfamiliar with these. Can they be used the same way as release paper is used with B&W prints?
I would appreciate your input and thank you in advance.
The glass carrier can handle all formats up to the largest size negative it is intended for.
I have a Durst with a 4x5 glass negative carrier and use it for 35mm, medium format and 4x5. The Anti-Newton glass should be on the top portion of the carrier.
