I also got @Todd Barlow 's "Four Birch", which had a rough time on it's journey across the Atlantic. Adds to the story, I'd say...

I'm also among the lucky ones to get @jvo 's "electric egret". Incredible mixture of tones that make the egret pop out. I wonder if it's possible to reproduce this kind of effect with chemistry? I've been getting these kind of tones with Bromophen and then toning with KRST, but no idea how to...

Analyzer Pro & Besler 23CII Calibration Challenges

But that means that the Analyser Pro needs to be used without the safelight? That seems somehow inconvenient. Shouldn't it all be calibrated for use with the safelight on? Quite interested because buying an Analyser Pro has been on and off my priorities for a number of years now...

I am using a lab again for the first time in years.

Some months ago I took a severely expired (20+ years) Velvia 50 in 120 format to a well established photography shop here in Brussels. When I placed it on the counter the guy scratched his head and grabbed the phone to call a colleague - what do we do with this? Turned into 3 weeks just to get...

I will have to skip this one, but I do hope I'll be able to come back for #69.

In the past few days I received two postcards from far, far away: @bedrof "One" from an even more distant Ushuaia cargo terminal, and @Taurabon 's "Hex wrenches", which seems to have been "accidental"... sure, sure, but incredible result nevertheless.

I received @FilmIsCheap 's very timely image of "Hang in there, Minnesota", reminding times of distress where people need to come together - in 2020 as in 2026. Thank you!

Fuji GX680 (Model I) - Question regarding Waist Level Finder removal and Mirror rest bolts

I checked on my GX680III, and confirm that you slide the viewfinder horizontally while pressing the buttons (in my case one on each side). Also confirm that the stops for the mirror are different on each side, seems to be by design and not by mistake

3 more arriving here: @Daniela 's nice game of contrast with "Arrival", @Ajven 's interesting coincidence (?) between the shape of the main subject and the tree in the background in "Lethal buds", and @Rlibersky 's image of Havana's cathedral - a bigger version of this should look great.

Nikon F55 AF failure - hints for easy fix?

Thanks for the input. I've tried @neilt3 's suggestion, still no luck. I guess it's going away as a parts camera...

Nikon F55 AF failure - hints for easy fix?

I recently got a Nikon lens that had a F55 camera attached to it - lens will be kept but the camera body will be moving on. But before sending it out to the market again I would like to try to fix the AF issue on a otherwise fully working and nice looking camera. The camera hunts in AF and can...

I've also received @drpsilver 's "Got calculus". Really like the composition and the printing. Also got @GB-A2 postcard from the hippo and hare, the desaturated background surely made the foreground pop. Thank you both!

I got @absalom1951 's "Mail guard", I wonder if you go back there the mail boxes are even visible? Also got @ChrisR 's "Abbey Lake Trichrome", something I had never seen in actual paper. Now that I'm getting into RA4, this might be a nice thing to experiment with... Thank you both!

I got @Michael Howard 's "Tiger Cubs in Clay", in a wonderful, although slightly fogged Fomaspeed 313. I'm only now trying out the Foma papers, and have been using the glossy with satisfying results. I ordered a box of the matt paper recently but, after seeing this, I wonder if I should have...
