Hi all
So I’ve just made (another) camera purchase, this time it was a Leica IIIG and what I believe to be an LTM summitar or summicron.
I believe that the Lens cannot be saved (which is a shame) but the body looks like it might be worth salvaging. The seller advised that it was found in an...
Hello all
So I have just sold my battered 4x5 Speed Graphic as Dan Daniel is converting a Kodak Medalist accept 120 roll film. The increase in portability (for me) means that the medalist is a better camera than the Graphic.
I know that professional photographers during WW2 and later wars...
Hi all
Following on from my previous post, my restoration of my top mounted RF SG continues. The focal plane shutter is now working as I bought a replacement for it, which is great.
I am now turning my efforts to the rangefinder. It has a cam for a 127mm lens, and I am using a 135mm Xenar...

Thanks all, the transformer arrived and the fan in the head fired up! I need to rewire a c14 to a normal U.K. 3 pin wall plug (to go from the timer back into the transformer) and then test the bulb. Will report back.
If the bulb works I will then see if I can get a proper omega timer as...
