A rather "simplistic" scene, I hope the viewer don't find it too empty and uninteresting? I have always found it a challenge to capture the sparkle and texture of snow; to find the right light, give the right expose, and not least to avoid making the print look dull and flat.

A swampy piece of land, early in the morning. The sun soon rises and the mist has begun to quietly leave the scene. I wanted to capture the very quiet mood of the scene, I am not sure I succeed? Constructive critique on choice of subject, composition, printing, etc is most welcome!

Very nice! I like the deep shadows on the trunk; they contribute to a spooky appearance of the print, almost like from a Hitchcock movie.

Thank you all for your valuable feedback. Cropping the print seems like a good idea. I did consider a tighter crop when setting up for printing, but in the last minute I opted for a more spacious composition showing more of the luminous foliage. I thought it looked almost like stage lighting...
