It could be nice to know, if it's an interesting emulsion. Personally I am more interested in motion picture stock, Double XX and Vision 3.
Since a master roll produces 38000' at 70mm width, as long as people want to get 380 reels of 100', it would be feasible. Since you have done group...
Is it me, or $105 approx for 100ft isn't bad at all? Even if it's Double XX or similar B&W. Actually might prefer B&W over aerocolor. It's the MOQ that is the killer. Plus you would need something to split efficiently the 2000' reels into 100'. Dark bags, spool cores... it all adds up.
I guess...

I like to imagine the other markets (Ukraine, China, wherever Orwo is from, etc) would see it as profitable and make Kodak want to compete again. I mean, there are so many backs and cassettes out there, if they were being used again it may entice the offers to come back.
Ignorance is bliss.
It does help. I either hope Kodak will sell 65mm for still photography, or loosen their rules and allow respoolers. The current options are a bit pricy considering direct prices are $1600 for 1000'. that's my opinion, I get it, people want to pay for their time and make it worth... otherwise...
I noticed that. And called Kodak, you need to have a verifiable motion picture project to buy, etc, etc. But it's great to see 65mm of 100D being produced.
Hello,
in 2026, what are good options to source long roll film? 70mm perf'd or not, 65mm is acceptable as well. Black & White, and color.
The scalpers on eBay are out of their mind. It's not worth it for film stored in unknown conditions. Any reliable source at a reasonable price?
Thanks
Thanks. It's only the lens board I'm missing then. I misunderstood something above, I thought the board was sandwiched or something. I wish the Anniversary JoLo lens board was still sold.
I hear you. My 210mm for portraits works fine, I would like the camera to be used as originally intended when I use my 90mm. So that missing paddle bothers me.
Have you kept your paddles by any chance? I'd get them off you....
I have a top rangefinder model. I'm actually ok holding the camera "press style". I am missing that little level/cam that goes press the lens' shutter lever. The vertical rod is there and goes up and down, but nothing pressing the shutter.
I was looking at my Meopta enlarger and the film carrier has this adjustable mask on it. Is there something similar that exists that can be used for scanning?
I shot many formats, and with yet another odd format (4x10) I'm facing the same challenges. Film, paper, development reels, and a way to...
