Gotta fade test the dyes. Pigment inkjet are outstanding for fade resistance. Inkjet dyes are terrible. At least the ones I tested a few years ago. I have not kept up with it, so you check it out.

This is #4 out of #6 SSD archival tests underway. The Samsung T7 500GB SSD was formatted on 9.1.22 and 449GB of data was put on it. It has not been plugged in since 9.1.22. I checked it today, 3.1.26 and everything was fine.

I had 3 of them. One died a few years ago. Another one died a few months ago. The last one still works, but it gets lots of use. Who knows when it will die. If I knew they would be discontinued, I would have bought a few more. They are the workhorse of my archive.
