Winter

Winter

A rather "simplistic" scene, I hope the viewer don't find it too empty and uninteresting?
I have always found it a challenge to capture the sparkle and texture of snow; to find the right light, give the right expose, and not least to avoid making the print look dull and flat.

Nicely done.
Trying to make the snow show texture is tricky - as you say it is all about the right light.

Not very unique as an image, but nice composition and very well done as in craftmanship, deserves to hang on the wall

As you have put this on the critique gallery, let me give you my thoughts. I think this image would have far more impact if you had almost filled the format with the tree, but followed the tracks out of shot, if that makes sense?

It has the beauty of rarely appreciated fine writing paper, lovely texture with words of silver that speak eloquently.
