Window to the Sea (2)

Another print of sloppy burning.

I post it because of a discussion at the chat room like my other print of the chuch.
I promise a good print will replace it.

I was just anxious to get comments on the image matter.

I am really genuinly surprised how this photograph has become so popular. Thank you for your kind words, now I really owe it to you to upload a better print.

Yes, I know the painting Melissa, Magritte is one of my favorites as I like surrealism in general and often have thought of making photographs of his work, like the man in front of the mirror. The way I saw this image was that it reminded me of an upsidedown canvas and that's why I left the vertical pole at the top. As far as the slant goes, I must go back and look at that window again as I tried to line up myself as well as I could, so I must have missed something.

Great shot. I really like the frame-within-a-frame effect -- it causes the viewer to do a double-take: Am I looking at the real sky and sea, or at a photo of a photo of the sky and sea. Intriguing!
