I like this. It reminds me of Rene Magritte's "The Human Condition". *look it up if you aren't familiar with it*

The slant on the line at the top bothers me only slightly. I can look past it and still like the picture alot, though.

Yes, I know the painting Melissa, Magritte is one of my favorites as I like surrealism in general and often have thought of making photographs of his work, like the man in front of the mirror. The way I saw this image was that it reminded me of an upsidedown canvas and that's why I left the vertical pole at the top. As far as the slant goes, I must go back and look at that window again as I tried to line up myself as well as I could, so I must have missed something.

Great shot. I really like the frame-within-a-frame effect -- it causes the viewer to do a double-take: Am I looking at the real sky and sea, or at a photo of a photo of the sky and sea. Intriguing!
