I am finally getting around to printing this series of pictures. Having moved once in 2009 and once in 2010 I have pictures of window frost from three different residences. There are a lot of negatives to go through, so this is a start. Even now, two years after I started taking pictures of window frost, it amazes me the shapes nature will deliver water in.
Printed the other night in my 45 degree F darkroom. Using a hot water jacket in a tray bigger than the ones I keep the chemistry in, I manage to balance the liquid temp at about 65-72 degrees without too much effort. The only problem is I'm freezing my a$$ off in there while doing it. But I'm still having fun, and just maybe the struggle is good for me.
Thanks for having a look,
- Thomas
