I was born in Cuba and raised in Miami. I used to frequent Big Cypress and Everglades National Park back in the 90's and have hundreds of slides from that time. I'll be scanning some 645 b&w slides from loop road soon.

I noticed in your pics that some of your subjects are posed on plantain leaves, gives it a sense of place to me. Hope to back and visit someday but my kidney transplant has been a rough and difficult one.
