There is a plaque near each tree...or... there is a tree next to each plaque commemorating the Minnesota WW-I vets killed during the war. When it was built it was a prairie, it now has trees.

A beautiful testament, Steve. It still baffles me how many lives are lost due to conflict... The lith printing sets the mood perfectly and describes the both physically and emotionally cold place.
