Vague Memory Of Sadness

Vague Memory Of Sadness

Like in a dream our lives transformed,
navigating loneliness was bumpy travel.
Looking out the window, seeing nothing but vague shapes,
echoing the numbness within.
We parted ways and both coped well,
and we're past the sadness, feeling better.
This picture remains, and memories of years gone by. A reminder. To be careful with our lives.

Thank you all very much for your comments! It's amazing how much symbolism we sometimes ascribe to an image.

I'm printing this, and keeping it as a reminder.

Ilya, I am expecting a Leitz Focomat V35 enlarger to use for 35mm work any day now. Can't wait...

Replaced neg scan with a print today, December 6th, 2012.
