8x10 silver contact print. (I've left the boarder on for the web since monitors vary so greatly. The actual print has a satiny white background and will be fully trimmed for mounting.)
If you're wondering what it is, well it a photograph of sticks in the water that is supposed to look like a photograph of birds in flight.
The exposure was made at Shenango River Lake, an Army Corps or Engineers project created by a damn built in 1965. The newly formed lake forced my mother and family to leave their home and move to a nearby community. I've decided to make this a second ongoing project along with my Campbell's Farm series.
I've spent many a hour at the lake nightswimming, fishing and boating so the area means something to me on many levels. I will reorganize my site to reflect this project in the next week, for now most of the work is in my "Rural" section. Best. Shawn
