A very cold February twilight at Morar in the West Highlands of Scotland.

Difficult to see the islands of Rum and Eigg on the horizon in this compressed jpg - looks better on a bigger file - honest...!

It was very, very cold when I took this photo at twilight. I was fumbling around with gloves etc but there was not a breath of wind and the most magical alpenglow on this deserted white shell-sand beach. It was amazing just to be there - the photo was a good bonus!

Due to a combination of work committments and poor weather it's been a lean winter photography-wise. Your comments are a great encouragement.
