@Chazzy - I hate to say it, but the focus is just a tiny bit off on the girls' faces...you can see it in a larger print or a zoomed-in scan. I'd make that better! But thanks for the comments, all...very appreciated.
 
There's not much that can be added to the above-mentioned posts. One can begin by going into a rich socio-ethnographic discussion; but, that's for another time and place.

This is truly a gorgeous portrait!
 
OMG. I would have been shaking..to be present at this moment. And with a Crown Graohic yet. So much quality. THE image of a lifetime.
 
And I really mean this..having that skirt in perfect focus makes a better photo than the face being in perfect focus if you had to chose
