"As you used a Leica M6 I think you could get two photos from this negative"
Umm let me think. A Leica is a light tight box that you stick film in, and of course it has a shutter to allow precision exposure of that film. Just like my Canon then.
Unfortunately it's not possible to download the image properly as I'm tempted to have a fiddle.
Personally, for me, it's too cluttered. It might come to life with a crop.
Gareth, Thank you for your comment, I do appreciate all comments on my photographs. The only reason I use Leica equipment is I prefer German glass to Japanese glass. Each to their own. At the moment, due to the "Digital Revolution", there are some bargains to be had, especially in the Leica SLR department. If you would like me to send you this image, you are welcome to "have a fiddle", I would be interested to see the results......All the Best, John.
Cheers John.
I've nothing against Lecia, I just hate all that Lecia snobbery. Also westmor refered to the camera, not the lens, cameras are just light tight boxes really.
While I like my Canon EOS33 SLR's, if I had a little more cash I'd pop out and buy a voigtlander with a 21 to 24mm ish prime. Canon's wide primes are fine but not the sharpest out there, plus when doing street stuff or trying to be unobtrusive rangefinders are ideal. Most non snappers think they are just weird old fashioned compacts and don't take you seriously, which for me is ideal. Not that I'd be giving up the autofocus SLR.
But hey too many folks get obssesed with gear.
Feel free to send me a Jpeg and I'll have a fiddle, might be a couple of days before I get back to you. Anybody who wants to play with my stuff feel free. Lots of stuff on my web site at www.photoecosse.net
At the mo I'm thinking of moving to copyleft for my web work. People are far too obsessed with ownership, and I'm not just talking about photography.
Best wishes, Gareth.
