I only post the ones that turn out (mostly). The first two in this exercise were way over developed. This one was underdeveloped some and took a bit of tweaking under the enlarger. I've got some TD-3 on order and will try again with the Tech pan when that come in. Mostly I just wanted to see if the old film was going to be usable, I've got 2 full boxes of 25 and part of a third. I was having problems trying to use my grain focuser with this stuff, there is no discernable grain.
Larry, reading your comment sounds like the 4x5 might be a new item of usage for you. Heck, this is a good idea to see how things are working overall and understand for future adjustments as required. At this time you're the one who needs to study the image for those adjustments as you might want the results to come about over time. Definitely in the ballpark here on this experimental run.......

Very new to the 4x5. I've had it a little over 2 weeks now. A bit of a learning curve but nothing undoable and it has been fun. Biggest complaint has been the weather, Haven't had a chance to get the darn thing out with the sun shining so I've just been playing around in my back room office. Like I said this one was as much about practice with the camera as it was testing to see if the old Technical Pan film was going to be usable, looks like it is. This image was taken on with film from an open box that has an expiration date of 1998 and had been stored in a garage.
The film was part of a big lot of darkroom gear I picked up a few months ago. No idea how it had been stored but I suspect it was kept in an unheated/cooled garage for 15+ years.
