This photograph was taken near Bill Schwab's place up in northern Michigan. The vignetting was due to stacked filters (polarizer + light green) I was using to cut down reflections and bring up the submerged grasses. I was planning on cropping out the vignetted corners, but they seemed to work OK with the impression I got when composing the picture- a microcosm in this little stream.
this is a great shot. I would think that you could take the same photo using gel filters with the polarizer and you shouldn't have the vignetting problem. then only area that might be a problem is the lower right hand corner. but if it was burned in it so that the line is diffused then it may be better. just a thought and I'm not sure you can make it better. The chose of filters is outstanding and gives this photo such depth.
Exceptional, Daniel! That really is quite different. It is well thought out, using the filters. I'm glad you didn't crop it. I'm extremely impressed by this!

Daniel: beautiful image. I agree with earlier posters that the vignetting works in a natural way, but might be improved by graduating the lower right with a burn. I especially enjoy the reflections of the clouds and trees in the water.
Daniel,
For me this one is a stopper for the lillypads, the underwater grass and the reflection of the clouds.
Water and Air, Ying and it's eternal companion Yang.
The vignetting is a plus in a great image, it gives an old time feel.
