Stream with Lily Pads

This photograph was taken near Bill Schwab's place up in northern Michigan. The vignetting was due to stacked filters (polarizer + light green) I was using to cut down reflections and bring up the submerged grasses. I was planning on cropping out the vignetted corners, but they seemed to work OK with the impression I got when composing the picture- a microcosm in this little stream.

This is exceptional! A cliche subject done with originality and style. Good for you! I wish it were mine (and I'm scouting the 'pads for the decisive moment:wink: )

daniel,

this is one of the most beautiful montages i have ever seen,
and it is even "naturally vignetted" .. too cool

WOW!

Cool Dan! This is really nice - if you hadn't mentioned the vignetting I probably would haven't noticed.
I enjoy seeing what you are up to next.

Not sure what to say Daniel, the scene is quite delicate. A very nice work, Thanks for sharing...very nice as always.

Great eye Dan. I did not notice the vignetting at first, it seems so natural to the image. Really like the tonal range as well. It's a winner !!!!!!!!
