Thanks everyone for your positive comments. I have to admit that I felt that it had that mid-west Americian look when I was printing it. I just wonder have I been influenced by the photos that have appeared in the APUG galleries over the years. This of course is no harm as it does in my opinion help to broaden my approach to photography.
