Great tones and textures - this image looks very good and I am sure it makes a stunning print! Who needs grand landscapes when you can have one of these
As a matter of interest Jerry, I had done exactly as Doug suggests and found the image to be stronger - as it wasn't a critque I am never sure if I should venture such a comment
I appreciate all your kind comments, and suggestions. Perhaps I'll crop it as such, but I hate to lose those branchtips, as I think they're essential to the form of the spindley twig.
I don't know, I think I'd leave it as is. The fine branch tips set up a cascade effect where the elements of the image keep building on themselves becoming stronger until it culminates in the rocks, roots and slabs.
To crop would completely alter the face and effect of the image for me.
