Shore birds, of which there are many different types, rely on incredibly well attuned senses to snatch a tiny meal wherever they can find it. Some scavenge, and some hunt, and some do both, but their energy in pursuit of breakfast, lunch, and dinner is amazing...perhaps a zero sum game, yet always interesting to observe. Here are six, or really on reflection, actually twelve! lol!

It's about time I get to wear a jacket, Varya! Even so, I saw two guys walking in from the surf in just their swim suits. lol...Good for them! Thank you all for your kind comments. The birds thank you as well. (I asked them about model releases, but they looked at me blankly and said, "Fish?")

In my opinion another instance of too static a cropping with too much sky. Since in the title you featured the birds, cropping the top draws you to the birds. I feel that you didn't make a choice when shooting this exactly what you were after, and later decided it was about the birds. If that's the case, then uncenter the horizon.
