Shoes f2.4 paper negative

Judy's shoe collection as seen by my new Wollaston 100mm f:1.8 Soft Focus lens. This was shot as a Paper Negative as a quick, simple tactic to check different levels of softness at various apertures.
Location
By Judy's permission...
Equipment Used
100mm f:1.7 Wollaston Soft Focus Lens @ f:2.4... No filter, north window light, white card reflector from shadow side.
Exposure
"about" 1 second (using the black card shutter system). Incident light metered... EV 4.2... I used ASA/ISO: 12
Film & Developer
NO FILM.... Glossy RC, VC enlarging paper, I used ISO speed 12... (developed by inspection under safelight) for "about" 5 minutes.
Paper & Developer
DBI (Develop By Inspection) is a useful tactic if a precise shutter speed is not possible. Just develop for density, then scan and/or adjust for contrast later...

This is why people shoot LF. Your lens certainly passed the test, and it should be perfect for portraits.
