This is a great image Graeme, even by your consistently high standards. This version has much more zing (a technical term!) than the version on f32. Once you have afforded the ND set up there is no way back! I think generally that soft transition frequently work best with water easing out the tonality as the light drops off close to the camera.

Agree about the presence of water, I too am strangely drawn, except perhaps at bathtime, and actively seek it out. My normal choice of locations: Forest, River or Coast? Last two win hands down most of the time for me.
