The scans are as accurate as I can make them considering you are looking at a monitor which is a light source vs a natural piece of paper. If I was to include a grey scale in the scan and make the grey scale as accurate as I could, the print would look very much like this. To me the scan has as close to the same feel as the print as I can do. The problem of scan vs print is true with any type print including silver gelatin. Still it is better for me and in my opinion to look at scans of prints rather than neg scans. In my gallery of prints all my scans are of prints and all as close in feel to the original print as I can make it.
