Hey, Tom. I wondered what was going to come of that shoot. Interesting stuff, as always!
 
Surreal..hints of Rene Magritte...very nice
 
You did it again Thomas. I am in awe of your controll of light and contrast.
 
Thanks for the comments, I've wanted this shot for a couple years. We did not get the room we thought we ask so this shot is a compromise. The bigger rooms have great old furniture in them and the veiw out the windows show the city. I do like the shot though and hope next year we ask the right questions to get the right room and have another go at it based on the lessions learned from this session.

David, Is this what you saw when I told you about the Idea?
Jim Kirk, I'm a huge fan of Magritte.
Dr Bob, The room really dictated how I had to light it. It was so small there was very few lighting options.
 
Hmmm... Not sure exactly what I thought at the time, but something along these lines.

Did you manage to execute that street shot you were planning?
