I know that it is not always good to compare photographers' work, but there's a Helmut Newton quality about your work Thomas (no don't just mean the nudity). It's as DrBob says, I think the imagination for form. I find it really celebratory of Form and somehow more natural than HN's.
This is such a strong image. the models' left arm seems just a little bit tense IMO - but it's not terribly noticeable.

John, Helmut had a great sense of humor with his work and his camera was always in in great angles. As far as the tension in her arm it is there by design. so I'm happy you saw it.
