This is a print scan from similar type neg.scan. This was produced using the split grade printing method which I sometimes employ when the humor takes me. I'm never entirely convinced that a straight grade print would'nt be just as good.

Thank you everyone for your positive feedback. Robert I've never taken IR shots of windmills but I have often considered travelling to Holland to photograph them, they would make an excellent subject matter for IR.
It's nice to know that other people treat split grade printing without that sense of reverence that is often attached to it. I find that it works best with IR negs where detail can be lost in the shadow areas.
