If you had of used a small, narrow and vertical 'kicker' card, such as a white index card or foam board supported by a small part of wood 2x4" scrap, at the back 30° or 45° behind the vase, you would have better separation of the background on the far right side right background, like what is hinted at in that side's waist but along that line.

IMO.
